Food & Beverage Hostess – Dubai

About the role

The F&B Hostess promotes efficiency, confidence and courtesy while maintaining a high standard of social skills. The role ensures smooth inter‑departmental relations and presents a positive image of the hotel to guests and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the assigned food & beverage outlet according to meal settings and opening hours.
• Assist the Assistant Manager/Restaurant Manager with tasks and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Greet guests, manage seating, present menus, take orders and handle payments.
• Maintain uniform appearance, grooming standards and cleanliness of workstations.
• Report maintenance issues, handle guest complaints and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Participate in training sessions, departmental briefings and support other hotel areas as needed.

Required profile

• College graduate with at least one year of experience as a food & beverage hostess or similar guest‑facing role.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and interpersonal communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) software applications.
• Good computer systems knowledge, including the Micros POS system.
