About the role

Join SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences, a luxury 5‑star city hotel in Downtown Dubai, as a Food & Beverage Manager‑in‑Training. This rotational programme offers hands‑on experience across multiple departments, preparing you for a future leadership role in hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Valuate and monitor work performance and progress of team members.
• Collaborate with managers to plan organisational work output.
• Assist in developing policies, performance goals and objectives.
• Rotate through departments such as personnel, merchandising, purchasing, customer service, sales and marketing.
• Complete classroom instruction and pass related tests and evaluations.
• Attend lectures, conferences and training sessions for professional development.
• Study conflict resolution and observe disciplinary hearings.
• Create projects and deliver oral presentations.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding and training of new employees.
• Analyse company reports to evaluate inventory activity, gross profit and sales.
• Identify trends and develop recommendations based on gathered information.
• Work with established client accounts and observe experienced staff to learn standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year cumulative experience in hospitality or customer service.
• Post‑secondary education (diploma or degree) in Hospitality.
• Desire to advance a hospitality career with strong engagement and motivation.
• Experience in a management role or similar responsibilities.
• Ability to work agilely in a fast‑paced environment.
• Entrepreneurial, lifestyle‑focused approach to hospitality.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong leadership abilities and a positive attitude.
