About the role

The Food & Beverage Manager‑in‑Training program at SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences provides a comprehensive rotation across key departments, enabling you to develop leadership, operational and customer‑service expertise within a luxury 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate work performance and progress of team members.
• Collaborate with senior managers to plan departmental output and set performance goals.
• Assist in developing and implementing policies, objectives and standards.
• Rotate through departments such as personnel, merchandising, purchasing, customer service, sales and marketing.
• Complete classroom instruction, tests and evaluations related to each rotation.
• Participate in hiring processes, including interviewing, onboarding and training new staff.
• Analyse inventory, gross profit and sales reports to identify trends and make recommendations.
• Observe and train with experienced staff to learn standards, procedures and effective conflict resolution.
• Create oral presentations and projects for departmental reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year cumulative experience in hospitality or customer service.
• Post‑secondary education (diploma or degree) in Hospitality.
• Experience in a management or supervisory role.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail and leadership capabilities.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and adapt.
