Food & Beverage Service Expert – Arabic Speaker

About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Expert will create memorable dining experiences for guests at Aloft Hotels in Dubai. This position requires a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in Arabic while delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and arrange tables, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
• Communicate orders and special requests accurately with the kitchen team.
• Interact with guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, replenish supplies, and follow health‑safety standards.
• Handle menu items, verify information visually, and assist guests with menu selections.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance) and navigate uneven or slippery surfaces safely.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is essential.

Required skills

• Arabic language proficiency.
