Food & Beverage Service Internship – 6 months

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Service Intern to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This 6‑month internship offers hands‑on experience in restaurant and hospitality operations, allowing you to support the delivery of exceptional dining experiences while learning industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a professional manner.
• Present menus, make recommendations and answer food‑and‑beverage queries.
• Take accurate orders and communicate them to kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure tables are properly set.
• Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
• Assist in opening and closing procedures and participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling bills and payments.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Team player with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
