Food & Beverage Supervisor – Dubai

About the role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor ensures service standards are consistently met across the restaurant outlets at Swissotel Al Ghurair. You will lead a team, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and act as the point of contact for senior management on operational matters.

Key responsibilities

• Suggest ways to increase sales and reduce waste to the Restaurant Manager.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of wines and beverages, including the restaurant wine list.
• Organise the restaurant for service, ensuring cleanliness and proper uniform standards.
• Build strong rapport with team members and enforce established service procedures.
• Ensure guest and team safety, handle complaints, and report any hazards or maintenance issues.
• Attend daily pre‑service and post‑service briefings and all required training sessions.
• Communicate schedule changes, leave requests, or sickness promptly to the Restaurant Manager.
• Perform additional duties or assist in other outlets as directed by management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar supervisory role within the hotel industry is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly responsible, reliable and able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented with a focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 lbs and perform occasional kneeling or ladder work.
