Food Server – Luxury Fine Dining Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, professional and guest‑focused Food Server to join a luxury fine‑dining restaurant in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver warm, attentive table service, manage an assigned section and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and serve guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen and bar.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of the menu, ingredients, allergens, prices and promotions.
• Explain menu items and confidently recommend food and beverages, using upselling techniques.
• Ensure tables are clean, properly set and ready for service.
• Monitor guest needs, respond quickly to requests and follow up on service times.
• Pay special attention to VIP guests, celebrations, allergies and dietary requirements.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, reception, cashier and other team members.
• Handle minor guest complaints professionally and escalate serious issues.
• Check bills for accuracy, manage discounts and payments.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and organization of the assigned section.
• Complete opening, closing and handover duties while adhering to grooming and uniform standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a waiter in a high‑end restaurant or luxury hospitality environment.
• Fluent English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Excellent communication and guest‑service skills.
• Strong menu knowledge and upselling ability.
• Professional appearance, personal hygiene and positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.
• Responsible, punctual, organized and detail‑oriented.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality service and strong teamwork skills.
