Food Service Helper

About the role
The Helper will work under the supervision of a Caterer to support food preparation and service during social events. This onsite position involves setting up venues, preparing simple dishes, and ensuring guests receive timely refreshments.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and refreshments, including hors d'oeuvres, sandwiches, and salads.
- Arrange tables, decorations, and dining settings according to event requirements.
- Serve foods and beverages to guests in a courteous manner.
- Wash, pack, and transport dishes and utensils back to the catering establishment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the service area throughout the event.
Required profile
- Ability to follow instructions from the supervising Caterer.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle moderate lifting.
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests.
