About the role

The Food Services Supervisor for the Aqua Pool Bar at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai oversees daily operations, ensures high‑quality guest service and leads a team of food‑service staff in a vibrant 5‑star hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure staff work together as a team to deliver optimum service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect grooming, attire and personal appearance of staff and correct deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the area.
• Manage storage areas, enforce FIFO, maintain cleanliness and conduct inventories.
• Monitor dining areas for seating availability, service quality, safety and guest wellbeing.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and follow safety procedures.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling and disciplining employees.
• Uphold company policies, report accidents, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
