Footwear Designer - Tech Pack Design

About the role

We are a footwear brand seeking a Footwear Designer to own the technical translation of concepts into production‑ready tech packs. The role supports styles for India and GCC markets, requiring clear documentation and cross‑functional follow‑through.

Key responsibilities

• Create complete footwear tech packs covering specifications, construction, materials, colourways, components, measurements, artwork, labelling, packaging and finishing requirements.
• Translate design concepts into manufacturable products by evaluating construction choices, material suitability, production constraints, target costs and quality standards.
• Coordinate sample development with suppliers and internal teams, document feedback, track revisions and close technical gaps before production handover.
• Review prototypes and samples against approved specifications, identify deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain organized product records, version control and technical updates for all stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of footwear design or product‑development experience with proven tech‑pack creation.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to explain technical requirements clearly to suppliers and cross‑functional partners.
• Comfortable reviewing samples, identifying deviations and driving actions to closure.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Strong footwear tech‑pack creation skills including technical drawings, specifications and material callouts.
• Working knowledge of footwear construction, materials, sampling, fit review and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PLM, CAD or comparable footwear product‑development tools.
