Foreman - Civil

About the role

The Foreman – Civil will supervise and coordinate daily civil works on bridge construction, maintenance and rehabilitation projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that all activities are performed safely, efficiently and in line with project specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise site workers and allocate manpower, tools and materials for smooth daily execution.
• Execute and monitor bridge‑related civil works such as concrete works, structural repairs, formwork, reinforcement and waterproofing.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, method statements and work instructions.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers and subcontractors to meet project targets.
• Monitor workmanship, conduct regular site checks and report progress and issues.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements and maintain proper housekeeping.

Required profile

• Technical qualification or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related trade.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Civil Foreman on bridge or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Hands‑on experience with concrete repairs, structural works, reinforcement, formwork and maintenance activities.
• Valid UAE Manual Driving License.
