Foreman – Electrical & Instrumentation

About the role

The E&I Foreman leads a large construction crew in the installation of electrical, instrumentation and telecom systems for oil & gas projects. Reporting to the General Foreman (E&I), the role involves prioritising work, allocating resources and ensuring progress aligns with project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Directly control up to 40 productive personnel and up to 4 supervisory staff such as chargehands and senior technicians.
• Supervise and improve the productivity and efficiency of assigned construction crews.
• Coordinate with the E&I General Foreman to secure approved installation procedures, drawings, materials and equipment.
• Report weekly on physical progress measurements to the E&I General Foreman.
• Liaise with other departments, sections and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of E&I works.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation or E&C from an accredited university (full‑time).
• Minimum 8 years of experience installing electrical, instrumentation and telecom equipment in the oil & gas industry.
• Background in construction operations management, offshore or site construction within oil & gas.
