Forklift Operator

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and safety‑conscious Forklift Operator to support warehouse and logistics operations at EDGE’s POWERTECH centre in Abu Dhabi. The role involves operating various forklifts to move, load and unload materials while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload and transport materials within the warehouse or site.
• Move goods to designated storage areas, ensuring proper stacking and handling.
• Assist in receiving, checking and storing incoming materials.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Support inventory control by accurately recording material movements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work area.
• Assist with packing, palletising and dispatch activities as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid UAE forklift operator licence/certification.
• 2–5 years of forklift operating experience in warehouse, manufacturing or logistics environments.
• Good understanding of safety practices and warehouse operations.
• Basic English communication skills (reading and speaking).
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.

Required skills

• Operation of counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks.
• Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems.
