Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

HappyRobot is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers in the UAE, helping them adopt and maximize the value of the company’s AI platform. The role blends hands‑on engineering with customer‑facing responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Guide customers through onboarding, integration and ongoing usage of HappyRobot’s AI solutions.
• Develop new features, MVPs and scalable full‑stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js and Python.
• Design and iterate AI/ML components, including LLM prompting, voice tuning and transcription services.
• Manage APIs and third‑party integrations to ensure seamless functionality.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Strong full‑stack development experience with React, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands‑on proficiency in Python.
• Experience building AI/ML applications, especially LLM prompting and tuning.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Founder mindset: independent, ownership‑driven and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
