Founding Flutter Engineer

About the role

WYLE is building an AI‑driven Personal Operating System that handles the routine parts of life. As a Founding Flutter Engineer you will own the single Flutter codebase that powers both mobile and desktop experiences, working directly with the founder to deliver a fast, reliable product for real users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the end‑to‑end Flutter application for iOS, Android, Windows and macOS.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and the existing client engineer to define architecture and product direction.
• Implement native platform channels in Swift and Kotlin to extend Flutter functionality.
• Profile and optimise performance, ensuring smooth operation on low‑end devices and flaky networks.
• Handle offline scenarios, data sync, and real‑world edge cases.

Required profile

• Has shipped production Flutter apps to the App Store and Google Play (not tutorials or side projects).
• Deep expertise in Dart and a proven state‑management approach (Riverpod, Bloc, or equivalent).
• Experience writing native Swift or Kotlin code for platform channels.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and fix hard performance or native integration problems.
• Comfortable building for offline use, unreliable networks, and low‑spec hardware.
