Franchise Development Manager

About the role

The Franchise Development Manager will own the creation and commercialisation of a new franchise framework for a precious‑metals and jewellery technology group. Working closely with an external consultant, the manager will translate the framework into a viable network across GCC/MENA and Africa and drive partner recruitment, onboarding and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engagement with the external franchise consultant, define deliverables, review outputs and ensure the final framework reflects real business operations.
• Map target territories, build a qualified pipeline of prospective franchise partners and represent the group at regional trade shows.
• Screen, conduct due‑diligence and negotiate franchise agreements, overseeing the full onboarding journey to first revenue.
• Manage ongoing franchisee performance, conduct audits, issue corrective actions and handle escalations.
• Develop and own the division’s business plan, budget, revenue forecast and profitability reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years experience in franchise, channel or dealer network development across multiple countries.
• Proven track record of appointing, onboarding and managing partners or franchisees.
• Experience managing external consultants and converting their deliverables into operational practice.
• Strong commercial and financial competence, including business case construction and ROI modelling.
• Working knowledge of GCC/MENA and/or African markets and fluency in English.
