Front Desk Agent

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver legendary hospitality to guests. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth check‑in/out and memorable experiences throughout the guest journey.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome, check‑in/out and escort guests while handling preferences, invoices and correspondence with attention to detail.
• Manage cash handling duties, including drawer balancing, voucher preparation and coordination with Accounting and Night Duty Manager.
• Collaborate with Concierge, Housekeeping and Reservations to provide seamless service.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel products and services to tailor offerings to guest needs.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and create memorable experiences aligned with MOHG standards.

Required profile

• Senior school qualification with at least 2 years’ experience in a 5‑star hotel, including 1 year in Front Office.
• Proficient in English; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
