Front Desk Agent – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Join the Front Office team at FIVE Hotels and Resorts in Dubai as a Front Desk Agent. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering the brand’s signature five‑star hospitality and ensuring every stay begins and ends with a memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, and handle reservations using the Opera PMS.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, providing tailored solutions.
• Maintain lobby appearance and ensure all front‑desk documentation is accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Process cash, credit‑card transactions and produce daily financial reports.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, and other departments to fulfill guest needs.
• Adhere to hotel policies, health and safety standards, and security protocols.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support 24/7 operations.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a front‑desk or guest‑service role within a luxury hotel.
• Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Outgoing, enthusiastic demeanor with a strong “can‑do” attitude.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Leadership and organisational abilities to inspire team members.
• Team‑player mindset with flexibility to work varied schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera Property Management System.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
