Front Desk Receptionist – Arabic Speaking

About the role

The Edition hotel in Downtown Dubai is seeking a professional Front Desk Receptionist who is fluent in Arabic and English. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth check‑in and check‑out experience while delivering the brand’s high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and process all guest check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations, cancellations and payment transactions.
• Activate, issue and file room keys, and manage wake‑up call requests.
• Handle guest inquiries, provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions and assist guests with disabilities.
• Maintain daily logs, contingency lists and run end‑of‑shift cash counts, securing the bank.
• Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid‑outs and miscellaneous charges using the hotel’s computer system.
• Report any theft, accidents or unsafe conditions to Loss Prevention and management.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and relay messages to appropriate departments.

Required profile

• Fluent in Arabic and English with clear, professional communication skills.
• Presentable appearance, adhering to uniform standards and hospitality etiquette.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong attention to detail, able to follow company policies and maintain confidentiality.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to support colleagues and achieve common goals.
