Front Office Duty Manager

About the role

The Front Office Duty Manager leads all front‑office activities during the assigned shift at Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah. This role ensures a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure, maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise guest arrival, check‑in, room allocation, stay and departure processes, especially during peak periods.
• Handle guest complaints, service recovery and escalated issues within authorised limits.
• Lead and coach the front‑office team, conduct shift briefings and monitor performance, grooming and punctuality.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations, engineering, security and F&B to ensure room readiness and resolve status discrepancies.
• Monitor room inventory, upgrades, over‑booking situations and work with revenue teams as needed.
• Oversee cashiering, credit‑card transactions, refunds and shift reporting, ensuring financial accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel/Hospitality Management.
• 4–5 years of front‑office duty‑manager experience in a 4/5‑star hotel or luxury resort, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Excellent English communication; additional languages (Arabic, French, German, Russian) are a plus.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, public holidays and shift handovers.

• Cashiering and billing procedures.
• Room management and guest recovery processes.
• Front Office operations using EMMA (required) and Opera PMS (advantage).
• Guest relations and VIP handling.
