Frontend Developer – E-Commerce

About the role

FunkySouq is looking for a talented Frontend Developer to build high‑performance, responsive web applications for its e‑commerce platform. You will work closely with UX/UI designers and back‑end engineers to deliver pixel‑perfect, fast, and accessible shopping experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web pages using Next.js, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Collaborate with designers to translate visual concepts into functional interfaces.
• Ensure cross‑browser and cross‑device compatibility and visual consistency.
• Optimize page speed, performance and scalability for a seamless user experience.
• Debug and resolve front‑end issues promptly to keep the platform stable.
• Integrate APIs and CMS components in partnership with back‑end developers.
• Implement accessibility standards and SEO best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience building and maintaining scalable e‑commerce web applications.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team.
