Full Stack Engineer

About the role

WedWise is a fast‑growing SaaS platform that digitises wedding planning. We are looking for a remote Full Stack Engineer on a 6‑month contract to clean up the existing codebase, ensure platform stability, and deliver new features that will shape the next phase of our product.

Key responsibilities

• Audit the current codebase, improve structure, and create comprehensive documentation.
• Own day‑to‑day site maintenance, bug investigation, prioritisation and resolution.
• Design, develop and ship new feature enhancements across the web application.
• Serve as the technical liaison for our AI development agency, reviewing work and managing integration points.
• Manage the product’s Jira board, write clear tickets and track progress.
• Collaborate directly with the founder to translate product ideas into technical requirements.
• Maintain the deployment pipeline and keep staging and production environments synchronised.
• Identify technical debt early and propose proactive improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• Proven ability to quickly understand and improve an existing codebase.
• Interest or experience in AI/LLM product integration.
• Comfortable owning a product end‑to‑end and driving technical decisions.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Self‑starter who can manage priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
