Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Presight, an Abu Dhabi-based big data analytics company listed on ADX and owned by G42, is looking for a customer-focused, self-driven Full Stack Engineer in Abu Dhabi. You will join the development team to build the annotation platform on both front-end and back-end, collaborating with Product Managers, Architects and Software Engineers to research, design, implement and improve its functionality as part of a big data analytics system.

Key responsibilities

• Own scoped features end to end, from requirements and technical design through implementation, testing, release and production follow-up.
• Build responsive, accessible interfaces for annotation and data-review workflows.
• Develop backend services, RESTful APIs, data models and asynchronous workflows.
• Work with Product, Design and Engineering to clarify requirements, handle edge cases and deliver complete user journeys.
• Use AI development tools to speed up implementation, testing, debugging and documentation while keeping quality accountable.
• Write automated tests, take part in code reviews and apply security, privacy, performance and reliability practices.
• Troubleshoot issues across the stack and improve features based on production behaviour and user feedback.
• Follow company policies and QHSE, business continuity, information security, privacy, risk, compliance and governance policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience, delivering features across frontend and backend.
• A full-stack ownership mindset, able to move between application layers and follow work through to production.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, plus HTML, CSS and web fundamentals.
• Experience with component-based frontend development, preferably React and Next.js, including state management, data fetching and client/server rendering.
• Backend experience with Java and Spring Boot, and Python for AI agent orchestration and LLM integrations.
• Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, modular monoliths and microservices, and relational databases, RESTful APIs, authentication and authorization.
• Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka, and with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, cloud platforms and application monitoring.
• Experience building data-intensive applications and integrating AI or LLM capabilities; familiarity with UI component libraries such as Ant Design is ideal.
