Full-Time Faculty – Business Management & Public Administration

About the role

The College of Business Administration at the American University in the Emirates invites qualified Ph.D. holders to join as full‑time faculty at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The position involves teaching Strategic Management, Business Management and Public Administration in English with a teaching load of 12 credit hours per semester.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver research‑driven teaching and assess student performance in accordance with academic standards.
• Participate in curriculum development, review and continuous improvement of programmes.
• Provide academic advising, serve on committees and contribute to professional and community service.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Management or a closely related field completed by recruitment, with at least 18 graduate‑level credit hours.
• Minimum of three Scopus‑indexed articles (or five peer‑reviewed articles) published within the past five years.
• At least two years of teaching or professional experience at an internationally accredited university and a proven record of excellence in teaching at bachelor’s and graduate levels.

Required skills

• Experience in curriculum development and academic programme review.
• Active research agenda with a record of peer‑reviewed publications.
• Ability to integrate web‑based and digital technologies into classroom instruction.
• Excellent proficiency in English (and Arabic where applicable) for effective communication.
