Full-time Textile Designer (Umm Al Quwain)

About the role

We are looking for a creative Textile Designer to join our team in Umm Al Quwain. The role involves developing original patterns and prints for apparel, home textiles and decorative fabrics, supporting both commercial projects and academy curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create textile patterns and prints for various applications.
• Prepare artwork, technical files and colour palettes ready for production.
• Adapt designs to different fabrics, textures and printing methods.
• Collaborate with instructors and team members on curriculum‑related projects.
• Ensure all designs meet brand standards and quality requirements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with market trends and emerging textile technologies.
• Support presentations, sample development and coordination with vendors.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in embroidery and textile print design.
• Solid understanding of fabric types, textures and surface‑design techniques.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for textile applications.
• Relevant education in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
• Ability to translate concepts into market‑ready designs with attention to colour and composition.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and time‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented with capacity to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Familiarity with printing processes, fabric sourcing and trend research is a plus.
