Full-time Waiter / Waitress

About the role

AccorHotel is looking for a dynamic Waiter/Waitress to join the team at Novotel & Ibis Abu Dhabi Gate Hotels. The role involves delivering high‑standard food and beverage service to guests in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and break down function rooms, including table setting, according to established standards.
• Serve food and beverages, ensuring service meets departmental quality standards.
• Handle cashiering and beverage dispensing duties as assigned by Banquet Management.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and security of service and storage areas.
• Report any complaints, incidents, deviations from standards or equipment issues to management promptly.

Required profile

• Well‑presented, professionally groomed and punctual with uniform and name badge.
• Good communication and customer service skills, able to resolve guest issues courteously.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in English; fluency in Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage products and service procedures.
• Ability to follow checklists, maintain equipment and adhere to hotel policies.
• Experience with related point‑of‑sale or banquet systems is a plus.
