Functional Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics BC

About the role

This Functional Consultant position covers the full lifecycle of Microsoft Dynamics BC projects, from gathering business requirements and designing end-to-end solutions to implementing, customizing and supporting the system. It also includes Power BI report development, project management, training and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Gather business requirements with stakeholders and turn business processes into system requirements.
• Design end-to-end solutions using Dynamics BC modules, develop functional specifications and configure the system.
• Lead implementation, customize modules such as Finance, Sales and Marketing, and integrate with other systems.
• Develop Power BI reports using DAX, create and optimize measures and validate reports integrated with Business Central.
• Manage workshops, UAT, post-go-live support, end-user training and user documentation.
• Act as liaison between technical teams and business users, and ensure quality assurance and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in a functional consulting role, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics BC.
• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, retail or logistics is a plus; experience with LS Retail is an added advantage.
• Project management experience, especially leading ERP implementations.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics BC, especially Finance, Supply Chain and Operations modules.
• Strong understanding of LS Retail and Business Central table structures (mandatory).
• Knowledge of financial management, sales and distribution, procurement, retail operations and after-sales service.
• Problem-solving and excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
