Functional QA Lead – Mobile Banking

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Functional QA Lead to drive quality assurance for our mobile banking solutions. The role involves leading end‑to‑end functional, integration and API testing for complex digital banking applications, ensuring high‑quality releases that meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare test strategy, test plans, estimations and design traceable test cases.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, smoke and UAT testing, validating end‑to‑end customer journeys.
• Perform API validation using Postman or SOAP UI and database validation with Oracle SQL or SQL Server.
• Log, reproduce and track defects in JIRA, conduct root‑cause analysis and support issue resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners and DevOps during sprint ceremonies.
• Validate production releases, conduct post‑deployment sanity checks and support SIT, UAT and production deployments.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of functional testing experience.
• At least 3 years testing digital or mobile banking applications.
• Strong understanding of banking products, customer journeys and integrated enterprise systems.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments and managing defect lifecycles.
