Game Designer – Live Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Game Designer who will own both the creation of new game mechanics and the live‑operations that keep our titles engaging after launch. Working remotely within the CET time zone, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver fresh content and optimise player experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new mechanics, systems and features from concept through prototype to implementation.
• Produce clear design documentation, including GDDs, user stories, wireframes and prototypes.
• Plan, schedule and execute live events, promotions and in‑game activities to drive engagement, retention and monetisation.
• Maintain a live‑content calendar ensuring a steady flow of fresh content aligned with business goals.
• Analyse player behaviour, feedback and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and iterate on content.
• Test, analyse and optimise new and existing features using data‑driven methods.
• Collaborate closely with art, engineering, production, analytics and marketing teams.
• Conduct player research and usability testing to validate ideas and refine designs.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and feature prioritisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in game design or product design within mobile gaming.
• Hands‑on experience with live‑operations and managing live game content.
• Strong understanding of free‑to‑play mechanics, player behaviour and monetisation strategies.
• Ability to translate data insights into design decisions.
