Games Room Attendant

About the role

The Games Room Attendant creates a fun and safe environment for guests at W Hotels in Dubai, encouraging participation in recreational activities and ensuring smooth operation of the games area.

Key responsibilities

• Encourage, register and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Promote a welcoming atmosphere and provide information on available facilities.
• Enforce safety rules and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Maintain and clean equipment, report accidents, and complete safety training.
• Welcome guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and handle telephone inquiries professionally.
• Process payments for equipment rentals, activity fees, and retail sales using POS systems.
• Inspect tools and equipment for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Capability to move through narrow, elevated or uneven spaces and handle stairs or ramps.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Team‑oriented attitude with a focus on guest service and safety.

Required skills

• Basic operation of computers and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
