Garage Manager / Workshop Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Garage Manager to lead our automotive workshop in Dubai. You will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring safety compliance, and maximizing vehicle uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day garage and workshop operations.
• Supervise mechanics, technicians, electricians and other workshop staff.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and repairs for the fleet.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults promptly.
• Monitor productivity, control costs and minimize vehicle downtime.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, lubricants and equipment.
• Coordinate parts procurement with suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Keep accurate service records, maintenance logs and vehicle histories.
• Prepare budgets, track expenses and conduct quality inspections before hand‑over.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, organization and safety procedures.
• Train and mentor staff to improve technical performance.
• Generate regular maintenance reports for management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of garage or workshop management experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
• Proven experience managing fleet vehicles (passenger cars, light commercial or heavy equipment).
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, preventive maintenance and workshop operations.
• Experience with workshop management software or fleet management systems.
• Excellent leadership, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
