General Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated General Assistant to support daily departmental activities and ensure smooth workflow across functions at Emirates Flight Catering in Dubai. The role involves assisting various teams, reporting issues promptly, and adhering to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily departmental tasks and provide cross‑functional support to maintain efficient operations.
• Observe, document and report operational, procedural or quality issues to supervisors for timely resolution.
• Follow all SOPs, safety, hygiene and quality standards (ISO 9001:2008) and company policies.
• Maintain and update records, trackers or logs as directed to ensure proper documentation.
• Safely operate basic tools, machinery or systems according to SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Share relevant information with team members, supervisors and other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
• Collaborate with colleagues, assisting them when required and demonstrating a cooperative attitude.

Required profile

• Higher School Certificate (mandatory).
• No prior experience required – entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Basic English communication and mathematics skills.
• Basic PC proficiency and ability to multitask.
• Willingness to follow SOPs, safety and hygiene standards.
