General Dentist – Provide High‑Quality Dental Care

About the role

The General Dentist will diagnose and treat patients in a clinical setting, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards while prioritising patient safety and comfort. You will deliver a full range of dental services and educate patients on oral health.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct oral examinations, diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Perform routine procedures such as fillings, extractions, scaling, polishing, root canals and restorative work.
• Provide preventive care education and post‑treatment instructions.
• Monitor patient progress, manage follow‑ups and maintain comfort throughout treatment.
• Ensure strict sterilisation of instruments and adherence to infection‑control protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, X‑rays and clinical documentation.
• Respond to dental emergencies and urgent care cases as needed.

Required profile

• Active DHA licence (or eligibility letter) – mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in a dental clinic or hospital.
• Strong knowledge of restorative, preventive and general dentistry procedures.
• Experience with cosmetic dentistry is a plus.
• Ability to interpret dental X‑rays and create treatment plans.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a bonus.
• Excellent communication, patient‑management and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
