General Insurance Claims Manager

About the role

InsuranceMarket.ae is seeking a Claims Manager for general insurance to lead claim handling across multiple lines, advocate for customers, and ensure a transparent, efficient process. The role involves coordinating with clients, insurers and service providers while supporting business development and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Handle general insurance claims across property, casualty, business interruption, marine, financial lines and other products.
• Assist clients with claim registration, documentation and submission.
• Evaluate policy coverage and guide customers on procedures and risk management.
• Liaise and negotiate with insurers, surveyors, loss adjusters, repairers and other parties to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Track and monitor claims, ensuring timely follow‑ups to minimise delays.
• Maintain accurate claims records and provide regular updates to the COO.
• Support Business Development with claims‑related queries, trends and SLA monitoring.
• Provide clear claims guidance to customers and create educational content with Marketing and Product teams.
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to processes, turnaround times and customer satisfaction.
