General Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician to join Rotana Hotels & Resorts in Abu Dhabi. The role involves performing a wide range of general maintenance tasks across the hotel property, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Repair or replace tiles, flooring and wall finishes as needed.
• Carry out plaster repairs and general block work on walls.
• Fix damaged shelving, furniture and other hotel fixtures.
• Perform painting tasks throughout the property.
• Execute plumbing repairs, including silicon sealant replacement.
• Handle basic electrical maintenance and replace broken windows, doors and locks.
• Report serious damages to supervisors and follow Rotana policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or formal training in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, painting or electrical work.
• At least one month of relevant work experience.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure and pay attention to detail.
