General Manager Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven General Manager – Construction to lead the company’s overall operations, growth, and profitability in Dubai. The role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple construction projects from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall operations, strategy, and P&L of the construction division.
• Oversee all project phases — tendering, planning, execution, and delivery.
• Drive business growth through client relationships and new project acquisition.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Manage budgets, costs, and resources to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate closely with group subsidiaries for integrated project delivery.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team aligned with group values.
• Report performance, opportunities, and risks directly to the Group CEO.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of UAE experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing large‑scale commercial or residential projects.
• Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
