General Manager – Finance (Global Operations)

About the role

The Business Conglomerate based in Dubai is seeking a General Manager Finance to lead its global finance function. The incumbent will drive top‑line growth, improve margins and optimise cash flow through rigorous analytics and strategic financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑range plans, budgeting and quarterly forecasting (LE) for global operations.
• Price new and existing projects/products and evaluate business cases for product development or extensions.
• Prepare and present management reports on revenue, cost and income variance.
• Act as Finance Controller for Dubai entities, overseeing international accounting, taxation (UAE direct & indirect taxes) and consolidation.
• Lead global transfer pricing, audits, IFRS accounting, cash‑flow management and statutory compliance.
• Manage treasury, banking relationships, payroll processing and provisioning.
• Design tax‑planning strategies and coordinate with regional controllers on tax and cash‑flow matters.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 12‑15 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in international accounting, FP&A and leading finance teams in a global environment.
• Hands‑on experience working in Dubai and familiarity with UAE tax and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical abilities and track record of driving financial performance.
