General Manager – FMCG (MEA Region)

About the role

An exciting leadership opportunity to drive commercial growth, profitability and market expansion across a diverse MEA region. The role combines strategic leadership, distributor management, team building and executional excellence within a fast‑paced consumer goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own total sales, revenue and profitability performance across the MEA region.
• Develop and execute the regional growth strategy.
• Manage and optimise distributor partnerships and route‑to‑market models.
• Lead channel strategy across modern trade, traditional trade, foodservice and e‑commerce channels.
• Drive product portfolio decisions, localisation initiatives and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Partner with marketing teams and agencies to increase brand visibility and market penetration.
• Build, develop and lead a high‑performing regional team.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and sustainable commercial growth.

Required profile

• 10+ years of commercial leadership experience within FMCG markets across MEA.
• Strong P&L management and financial acumen.
• Proven success managing distributors across multiple international markets.
• Track record of driving growth and building brands in emerging markets.
• Experience developing and executing regional commercial strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to hire, develop and retain top talent.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
