General Manager – Food & Beverage

About the role

Independent Food Company is a UAE‑based hospitality group that operates multiple restaurant concepts. We are looking for an experienced General Manager – F&B to lead one of our concepts, driving operational excellence, financial performance and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations and performance.
• Develop and execute strategies to meet revenue, profitability and operational targets.
• Manage P&L, including sales growth, labour, food costs and expenses.
• Lead, coach and develop Restaurant Managers and operational teams.
• Ensure consistent implementation of brand standards, SOPs and service excellence.
• Analyse performance reports and implement improvement actions.
• Drive guest‑satisfaction initiatives and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Support new openings, expansion projects and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with culinary, marketing, finance, HR and supply‑chain teams.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of F&B experience, with proven success as a General Manager or senior operations leader.
• Strong background managing high‑volume restaurants or multiple outlets.
• Demonstrated P&L management and ability to achieve financial targets.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience developing large teams.
• Experience in premium casual, fine‑dining or multi‑brand restaurant environments preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Deep understanding of F&B trends, guest experience and operational excellence.
