General Manager – Food Manufacturing (Dubai)

About the role

A client of byteSpark.ai is seeking a commercially driven General Manager – Food Manufacturing to lead a Dubai‑based food solutions business through its next phase of growth. The role will take full ownership of the business, focusing on accelerating B2B revenue, winning and expanding key accounts, strengthening pricing discipline, and improving profitability across a diverse product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Dubai‑based food solutions business and take full P&L ownership.
• Accelerate B2B revenue across foodservice, hospitality and retail channels.
• Win and expand key customer accounts while strengthening pricing discipline.
• Improve profitability of a diverse, high‑SKU product portfolio.
• Oversee manufacturing, procurement, supply‑chain and working‑capital decisions.

Required profile

• 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or P&L role within food manufacturing, FMCG or foodservice.
• Proven track record of growing revenue and margins in both foodservice and retail channels.
• Strong operational knowledge of procurement, production, warehousing and supply‑chain management.
• Experience leading turnaround or transformation initiatives and driving cost optimisation.
• UAE or GCC market experience with established relationships across retailers, distributors and foodservice customers.
• Financial acumen to lead pricing decisions, cash generation and working‑capital performance.
