General Manager – Healthcare Operations

About the role

Dubai Physiotherapy & Family Medicine Clinic is seeking an experienced, commercially‑minded General Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of its multidisciplinary healthcare business in Dubai. This senior leadership position will drive operational performance, patient experience, team culture and business growth across a range of services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations and ensure smooth workflow across all departments.
• Lead and manage administrative, reception, nursing, allied health and support teams.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, performance management, disciplinary actions and terminations in line with UAE labour law.
• Implement and monitor KPIs, reporting systems and operational targets.
• Collaborate with directors and senior clinicians to support business expansion, including home care, medical aesthetics, wellness and beauty therapy.
• Ensure compliance with DHA, MOHRE, insurance and internal standards.
• Manage HR functions such as attendance, leave, investigations, conflict resolution and staff retention.
• Oversee vendor relationships, procurement, maintenance and logistics.
• Handle escalated patient and staff concerns professionally.
• Assist with budgeting, revenue monitoring and cost management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in healthcare operations or clinic management within the UAE.
• Previous senior role such as General Manager, Operations Manager or Practice Manager preferred.
• Strong HR management experience and deep knowledge of UAE labour law and DHA regulations.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Highly organized with strong administrative and operational abilities.
