General Manager – Luxury Resort (Lapita Dubai)

About the role

The General Manager will lead Lapita Dubai, a Polynesian‑themed luxury resort located within Dubai Parks & Resorts. Reporting to Marriott International, the GM is accountable for overall business performance, guest satisfaction, associate engagement and delivering strong returns for owners while preserving the distinctive brand experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business plan that drives revenue, profit and market‑share growth.
• Oversee all hotel functions—including rooms, food & beverage, spa, events and leisure facilities—to ensure operational excellence.
• Manage the property P&L, implement financial controls and optimise revenue management.
• Lead a large, multi‑disciplinary team, fostering a high‑performance culture and talent development.
• Maintain brand standards of the Autograph Collection and ensure consistent guest experience across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate with Dubai Parks & Resorts attractions to maximise cross‑selling opportunities.
• Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 1‑3+ years of senior management experience (General Manager, Director, Executive Assistant Manager) in an upscale or luxury hotel or resort.
• Proven background in Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage or Hotel Operations with strong commercial acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, drive revenue and control costs.
• Experience leading large teams in a complex resort environment; Marriott experience is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
