General Manager – Retail & Mall Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead property and mall management functions for Al Hamra Mall. You will drive standardisation across assets, meet financial and operational targets, and enhance the customer journey in partnership with marketing and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the property management team, ensuring assets are ready for opening and daily operations.
• Analyse footfall data, identify patterns and recommend asset improvements.
• Maintain critical services, risk, safety facilities and ensure compliance with evacuation regulations and exclusion zones.
• Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to deliver a seamless guest journey and conduct weekly site reviews.
• Approve and manage budgets for common areas, forecast expenditures and process purchase orders and invoices.
• Implement and standardise discount and debt management processes.
• Coordinate tenant relations, oversee onboarding, fit‑out compliance and monitor shop‑front standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Economics; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of property management experience in large retail assets with annual revenue of at least AED 200 million.
