General Manager – South-East Asian Restaurant

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead its South‑East Asian restaurant. Reporting to the Food & Beverage director, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability in a fine‑dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant operations, including service, culinary, staffing and financial performance.
• Maintain and exceed service standards, guest engagement, and brand positioning.
• Control costs, manage labor productivity and maximize revenue.
• Monitor daily performance metrics and implement continuous improvements.
• Coach and develop department heads and team members to foster a performance‑driven culture.
• Collaborate with culinary and bar teams on menu development, promotions and personalized guest offerings.
• Analyse guest feedback, KPIs and financial data to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing and hygiene regulations.
• Manage inventory, equipment and resources efficiently.
• Prepare and present regular operational and financial reports.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience as a General Manager or equivalent in a fine‑dining restaurant with at least 50 covers per day.
• Experience in 2‑star or 3‑4‑hat Gault Millau establishments is preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
