General Practitioner (Experience in Emergency)

About the role

The General Practitioner will provide frontline medical care in the emergency setting, referring patients to specialists as needed and making swift, effective clinical decisions. The role requires continuous knowledge sharing and a focus on delivering a positive patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Refer patients to specialists and consultants in hospital departments as required.
• Make rapid, evidence‑based decisions based on presenting symptoms and patient history.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• Identify and report non‑compliance issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate the quality of own work and provide feedback.
• Deliver work outputs with high energy, focus, and pace while supporting team goals.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a relevant specialised department within a private hospital.
• Medical degree recognised by the UAE healthcare authority.
• Diploma or training in a recognised speciality.
• Active, valid life‑support certification (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
