General Practitioner – Home Healthcare

About the role

Enaya Home Nursing is seeking a qualified General Practitioner to provide professional medical care to patients in their homes. The GP will monitor patients’ conditions, coordinate with treating physicians and hospitals, and collaborate with nursing and physiotherapy teams to ensure comprehensive, high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular home visits to assess, monitor and follow up on patients’ medical conditions.
• Review patients’ medical history, medications, treatment plans and overall progress.
• Identify changes or deterioration in condition and take appropriate medical action or arrange referrals.
• Coordinate and communicate with treating physicians, specialists and hospitals involved in each patient’s care.
• Follow up on hospital admissions, discharges, investigations, treatment recommendations and medication changes.
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to the nursing department and monitor the quality of nursing care.
• Offer clinical guidance to the physiotherapy department regarding patient needs and progress.
• Prepare accurate medical reports, home‑visit reports, progress notes and other required documentation.
• Ensure patient records are complete, accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families, address concerns and ensure appropriate escalation in emergencies.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Valid DHA General Practitioner licence.
• Relevant clinical experience; home‑healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision‑making, communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with hospitals, specialists, patients, families, nurses and physiotherapists.
• Good knowledge of patient safety, infection control and healthcare regulations.
• Arabic speaking candidates are preferred.
