General Practitioner – Primary Care (Hybrid)

About the role

The General Practitioner will deliver comprehensive primary‑care services at our holistic health centre in Abu Dhabi, blending conventional medicine with complementary therapies to support patients’ overall wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
• Review medical histories, order and interpret laboratory and imaging investigations.
• Prescribe appropriate treatments and coordinate care with specialists and complementary‑therapy practitioners.
• Educate patients on preventive health, lifestyle changes and wellness programmes.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records in line with DOH and ADHICS standards.
• Participate in clinical meetings, quality‑improvement initiatives and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• MBBS degree or equivalent with solid primary‑care foundation.
• Proven experience in family‑oriented clinical practice covering all age groups.
• Understanding of multidisciplinary collaboration, including nursing and complementary therapies.
• Eligibility for a DOH licence as a General Practitioner.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient‑centred approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
