General Superintendent

About the role

STRUCTURAL is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple infrastructure projects in the UAE. The role involves high‑level management of superintendents, foremen, and open‑shop crews delivering concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, and structural strengthening work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide field leadership to Superintendents, Foremen and crews on all project sites.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Division Managers and other senior leaders.
• Participate in pre‑project and pre‑task planning and communicate plans to field teams.
• Motivate and coordinate team members, assign work based on material and labor requirements.
• Ensure safe, proper and productive use of tools and equipment.
• Deliver training and assistance to field managers and crews.
• Assist Project Managers in evaluating production rates and completing essential paperwork accurately.
• Interview, hire and onboard new field employees.
• Champion the company’s 24/7 safety culture.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management is preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in general construction, with at least 5 years in a field‑management role such as Foreman or Assistant Superintendent.
• Proven experience on repair‑type projects including concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, corrosion control and façade restoration.
• Ability to manage 3‑8 projects simultaneously, adapting to size and complexity.
