General Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown is seeking a reliable General Technician to keep the property’s facilities running smoothly. You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance across guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of comfort and safety for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, mechanical and basic carpentry systems.
• Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests and hotel breakdowns.
• Conduct routine inspections, report faults and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support the engineering team during daily operations and emergency situations.
• Maintain tools, workshop organization, technical records and assist contractors on project works.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a technical or maintenance role, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Hands‑on attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑moving setting.
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail and a positive team attitude.
• Technical certification or trade qualification is an advantage.
