Geography Teacher

About the role

The Yasmina British Academy, part of Aldar Education, is seeking a passionate Geography Teacher for the academic year 2026/27. You will join a high‑performing, internationally‑oriented community that consistently delivers outstanding I/GCSE and A‑Level results.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons aligned with the British curriculum and the Academy’s core values of excellence, respect, passion, collaboration and creativity.
• Contribute to the school’s strategic vision and improvement plan, supporting target achievement and self‑evaluation processes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, safeguarding and equal‑opportunity policies.
• Participate in performance management cycles, setting challenging annual targets and, when required, acting as a reviewer.
• Engage in continuous professional development and collaborative planning with colleagues.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a recognised teaching qualification.
• Minimum two years (24 months) of relevant teaching experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to the values of the region and the Academy’s ethos.
• Ability to differentiate learning and support diverse student needs.

Required skills

• ICT proficiency for integrating learning technologies into lessons.
